I attended one of your mock interviews at the end of June 2010. I sought the need for interview help as I was successful in obtaining interview opportunities (23 fire department interviews between March 2006 - September 2010, 2 of them being volunteer departments) but was unsuccessful in obtaining the ultimate goal of a career. I wanted you to know that I found your advice very beneficial to my interview techniques. This email is to let you know that my very next interview after your mock interview was my golden ticket. I interviewed on with London and got the job offer. The HR rep that called proceeded to tell me how much they loved me in the interview and that I would make an excellent addition to the corporation. I think that the reason I came across so well is because of the priceless interview methods that you taught me.
I wanted to email you personally to give my sincere thanks to making my dream come true. I've been on the job for 3 months now and I've never been happier. I have since referred you to another aspiring firefighter and a close friend of mine.

I want to let you know that I did it! Just become official, I am a Markham Firefighter!!!! It feels like a million bucks. We had our physical and medical last week, and signed our offer this past Wednesday. We begin training next Monday March 15th!
They hired 39 guys. The first class was 15 guys that covered open vacancies. The class that I am in is to meet numbers as they are almost finished building a new hall. 1500 applied, 780 were interviewed. And here we are!! We got measured for uniforms and bunker gear and went over all the benefits, signed a lot of paper work, and had a meet and greet with the fire personnel. Life is GOOD!!!

Hi Sean: I just wanted to send you an email to say thanks for your help this past spring.
Not sure if you remember me but I did your mock interview earlier this year and was it ever an eye-opener for me. Since then I have put into practice what you suggested, and just last week I received that call that I have been waiting for.
I am starting with Oakville Fire– and it is an unbelievable feeling!!!!

Funny you just emailed me. I just got the call not even 60 seconds ago. Received a conditional job offer from the City of Brampton. They are just checking my references ect now and as long as that pans out. I will be reporting for basic training.
They told me in my phone call that they were very impressed with my interview skills and I scored very high. Obviously I couldn't have done that without your help. Thank-you very much for your interview coaching and I will be sure to refer you to others I meet along the way.

Just before applying to Toronto you re-did both my cover letter and resume, not long after that we did 2 phone interview sessions. I went into the interview feeling good, and for the first time left the interview feeling confident.
