BIO

Keith is certified as firefighter I & II and EMT-B he became an instructor for the Hartford County Fire School in 1991. In 1997 Keith was hired as a career firefighter for the Town of Southington, CT. Keith finished third in his academy class. In 2001 he was offered a position with the West Hartford, CT Fire Dept which he accepted. Currently, Keith is a charter member of the Capitol Region Haz-Mat Team as a technician. He has taken many academy classes which include but not limited to Fire Officer I, Confined Space, Rope Rescue, and many others.
Keith has had many firefighter interviews finishing in the top 10% scoring between 90-100%. Keith is extremely knowledgeable in the interview process more specifically in the Connecticut area. He knows what is needed to succeed in the firefighter interview and has the ability to coach candidates and help them with their interview preparation.

This interview for all intents and purposes will simulate the real thing. The mock interview will be located in a boardroom setting and will be conducted similar to the actual Fire Department interview. The “Study Guide for the Firefighter Interview” will teach how to prepare for your mock interview and the real one. You will then sit in front of Keith who will provide you with a mock interview. You will be expected to answer typical fire department interview questions. Following the interview, you will receive a critique filled with valuable tips and tools on how to polish your performance. The entire proceedings will be video taped for your review.

To book your interview, please schedule yourself into an available time slot using the on-line mock Interview Scheduler (below). It will show you dates and times of availability.
The firefighter interview coaching session will last approximately one hour. 20-30 minutes will involve a mock interview and the remainder of the hour will be spent on the critique and interview coaching.

Please contact Keith Albert @ 860-883-8677 to arrange payment.
