This interview for all intents
and purposes will simulate the real
thing. The mock interview will be
located in a boardroom setting and
will be conducted similar to the
actual Fire Department interview.
The “Study Guide for the Firefighter
Interview” will teach how
to prepare for your mock interview
and the real one. You will then
sit in front of Keith who will provide
you with a mock interview. You will
be expected to answer typical fire
department interview questions.
Following the interview, you will
receive a critique filled with valuable
tips and tools on how to polish
your performance. The entire proceedings
will be video taped for your review.
To book your interview, please schedule
yourself into an available time
slot using the on-line mock Interview
Scheduler (below). It will show
you dates and times of availability.
The firefighter interview coaching
session will last approximately
one hour. 20-30 minutes will involve
a mock interview and the remainder
of the hour will be spent on the
critique and interview coaching.
